I am a HS Social Studies teacher currently pursuing my NB certification. I ran across your blog and was wondering if I could ask advice from you from time to time. We have 1 HS in our county and I do not personally know of other HS SS teachers who have achieved their NB certification…in other words, I’m in need of a mentor!

You’re the only ENC person who seems to regularly update their blog! I know you’ve been out of TFA for a few years, but is there anyway you could keep posting? Or strongly encourage anyone else you know to start? I’m in the 2012 ENC corps and would love to have more of an insight!!

Rob, unfortunately it takes a very long time. They usually don’t release NBPTS scores until around Thanksgiving and they can potentially take until December 15th! They’ll send you an email a few days before the scores are going to be released letting you know how to access them.
